ONYX Hospitality conducts China roadshow
Hotel management firm ONYX Hospitality Group is meeting with travel partners across China during a four-city roadshow event.
Running until 31 May 2024, the roadshow visits Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Guangzhou.
Events incorporate networking, presentations, and collaborative discussions.
The roadshow cements its experience in the Chinese market, with a portfolio of 10 properties across the country.
The roadshow will update partners on progress made since last year as well as showcasing ONYX’s Thailand properties for the outbound market.
China has been a vital source market for these Thai destinations for decades, it says.
In 2023, Thailand received 3.51 million Chinese tourists.
According to TAT, Thailand is forecasted to receive eight million China tourists.
ONYX Hospitality Group operates the Amari, OZO, Shama, and Oriental Residence brands.
Select properties from each of the brands will be showcased in presentations.
It will present the latest updates and developments, highlighting the planned expansion across Thailand and Malaysia, including: Shama Rayong, Shama Suasana Johor Bahru (Malaysia), OZO Medini (Malaysia), Shama Hub Metro South Hong Kong, and Shama Hub Qiantang Hangzhou.
An opening in Laos, Amari Vientiane, is also in the pipeline.
