European Boating Holidays has decided to freeze the euro to the pound exhange rate in order to keep prices down for its customers.

With brochure prices currently in euros, EBH will offer existing and new travellers a fixed rate of €1.30 to £1 for holidays booked to any destination by the end of January 2009.

"We are determined that our existing and new clients are able to continue enjoying boating holidays across Europe in the New Year despite the economic downturn," said Matthieu Glasson, sales and marketing manager.

Today’s euro to sterling rate is €1.09 to £1.
