OTA up to 20 members and still counting
The Open Travel (OTA) Alliance, after a recent addition, says it expects to represent at least 50 companies by the end of the year.
OTA, a specifications publication organization, recently added Hotel Booking Solutions Incorporated (HBSI) to its list of companies in the travel industry using OTA messages.
OTA now has its 20th members in its network.
“The OTA continues to make a significant contribution to the industry and we wholeheartedly support and embrace (them),” said Larry Hall, CEO of HBSI.
OTA’s registration program allows members who have implemented OTA specifications to indicate which messages and versions are in place. Members who have registered their messages include Omni Hotels, Amadeus, Fidelio Cruise, Continental Airlines and Hertz.
