Passenger tests positive for Covid on Alaska cruise
A Celebrity Cruises ship on an Alaska sailing arrived in port at Skagway where one passenger disembarked who contracted Covid-19. The passenger tested positive for Covid-19 after reporting symptoms to the ship’s medical team and was isolated. Close contacts were tested with no other positive cases so far.
The passenger was sent home by private aircraft. The ship is expected to return to Seattle on Friday.
