Sixty-one-year-old Shigeko Ide Stein won the money after playing pennies at the Twilight Zone Video Slots in a casino. She normally visits the place three times a week,
The California woman told the Associated Press she took her seat only because it was the only one available.
Her win broke the previous world record of just over $2 million won in a penny slot machine.
