Philadelphia International Airport inks agreement with London Heathrow
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) announced a unique Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with London Heathrow Airport, which will see the two hubs work together to support the recovery from Covid-19.
They will focus on boosting transatlantic passenger traffic, increase international cooperation, and jointly advocate the airports’ respective government and industry organizations to enable a ‘safe and meaningful restart of travel between the UK and US.’
Airrlines and airports on both sides of the pond have been ramping up prressure to get a transtalantic travel corridor up and running.
