PM says no Plan B restrictions expected at Christmas
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is ruling out the likelihood of England being under tighter restrictions at Christmas. There is ‘no evidence’ the government will have to enact a Plan B scenario, the PM says.
The government is sticking to its current strategy. "I see no evidence whatever to think that any kind of lockdown is on the cards," Johnson told reporters at the G20 summit.
A Plan B would see a return to mask wearing, activating Covid digital passes for entry to certain venues and a return to working from home.
