P&O Cruises extends cancellations in New Zealand
P&O Cruises Australia is again extending its operational pause in New Zealand until late April, 2021.
Departures on Pacific Explorer have been pushed back to 25 April after previously cancelling sailings until March.
The line says it is still in discussion with government and public health officials about a timeline to restart sailing.
"We know that much better days lie ahead and we remain positive about the resumption of cruising. While we’ve paused operations, P&O Cruises has been using the time wisely to plan for cruising’s return," said P&O Cruises Australia President Sture Myrmell.
"As we work towards this goal, we wanted to provide our Kiwi guests with as much certainty as possible."
Pacific Explorer was originally scheduled to start 2021 cruises from Auckland in early February.
