P&O Cruises is bringing a new interactive experience to cruising with Australia’s first ever virtual reality experience at sea.
The line has teamed up with Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia to introduce the PlayStation VR experience onboard its ships, starting with Pacific Jewel later this year.
It will then be rolled out fleet-wide over the next 12 months.
P&O also announced a first ever port of call in the Kimberley.
It is adding calls to Kuri Bay, north of Broome to cruises from Freemantle.
Fares start from A$1099 per person for a quad share on a nine-night cruise to Kuri Bay departing May 16, 2017.
Whether it’s a new adventure to the stunningly beautiful Kimberley coastor a virtual journey from the comfort of one of our ships, we have something for every traveller in our new program," said P&O Cruises’ vice president of marketing, Simon Cheng.
