Princess expands Alaska National Parks cruisetours

Princess Cruises is expanding its Alaska cruisetours options.

New itineraries give cruise guests more opportunities to explore national parks, including Glacier Bay, Denali, Wrangell St. Elias, Kenai Fjords, and Katmai.

Following the successful launch of the 15-night National Parks Expedition cruisetour in 2024, Princess is offering new variations, visiting from three to five national parks.

The cruisetours combine the “Voyage of the Glaciers” seven-day cruise with scenic rail travel, and multiple days on land.

It includes stays at four Princess-owned wilderness lodges.

“There’s no better way to experience Alaska than by combining a cruise with an immersive journey on land. Our expanded National Parks 2025 and 2026 cruisetours offer guests an array of exciting options,” said Terry Thornton, Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer.

“Guests are brought directly to the doorsteps of some of the world’s most iconic national parks.”

2025 National Parks Cruisetours, on sale now:

National Parks Expedition – 5 Parks in 15 Days 7-day Voyage of the Glaciers cruise, 2 nights Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge, 2 nights Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge, 2 nights Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, 1 night Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, 1 night Anchorage

National Parks Explorer – 4 parks in 14 Days 7-day Voyage of the Glaciers cruise, 2 nights Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge, 1 night Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, 2 nights Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, 2 nights Fairbanks

2026 National Parks cruisetours are also on sale.

During the Alaska season that runs April through September Princess will sail seven ships in 2025 and eight ships in 2026 departing from five home ports, including LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, B.C. and Anchorage (Whittier).

With 88 visits to Glacier Bay, Princess visits the national park more often than any other cruise line.
