Qantas appoints new UK regional general manager
Eric Jelinek, Qantas regional general manager for UK, Ireland and Europe, will be returning to the airline’s headquarters in Sydney in February to take up a new role.
He will become head of Aquire Qantas Loyalty, responsible for the further expansion of Qantas’ loyalty programme for small to medium businesses.
He will be replaced by Markus Svensson, head of international revenue management, who has been with Qantas for four years.
Based in London from March 1, he will be responsible for the UK, Ireland, and Europe, and will also take on the Middle East and Africa.
