Qantas airport lounges will start reopening on July 1.
As international borders remain closed, it will affect lounges only in domestic terminals across Australia.
All airport lounges were closed on March 23.
Big changes are expected when Qantas reopens 11 of its 35 domestic lounges.
There will be no buffets or self-serve drinks machines, and strict limits are imposed on numbers.
Instead of the buffet, there will be an ‘All-Day Snacking Station’ with individually plated menu items.
"This is a new world for everyone as we introduce and evolve our services to the new travel climate, but we’re very confident that we can make this work well for our people and our customers," said Qantas chief customer officer Stephanie Tully.
"Some initiatives will become the norm while others such as capacity restrictions will ease as time goes on.
Tully said Qantas ‘hasn’t ruled out’ the return of the buffet at some time in the future.
Business lounges in Sydney and Perth, and the Adelaide Qantas Club are among those reopening from today.
