Qantas workers lose legal bid to stop vaccine disciplinary action
Unvaccinated Qantas workers have failed in a legal bid to delay disciplinary action against them.
All frontline employees were required to be vaccinated by mid-November. Last week a group of 24 staff filed legal action in the Federal Court against Qantas Group. They allege a compulsory vaccination policy is in breach of the Fair Work Act and privacy laws.
They applied for an urgent injunction to stall disciplinary action while the court rules on the case but it has been denied.
