Qatar Airways shifting operations to new North Goa airport
Qatar Airways is relocating flight operations to the new Goa airport this summer.
The airline announced an upcoming shift to the new Manohar International Airport (GOX) located in North Goa.
Qatar Airways currently flies into Dabolim Airport (GOI) in South Goa.
The move is effective from 20 June, 2024.
It will be served with the same schedule of a direct daily flight operated on a mix of Airbus 320 and Boeing 787.
Other airlines including partners IndiGo and Oman Air have relocated to the new airport.
Qatar Airways first launched its operations in Goa in 2009.
Currently, Qatar Airways flies to 13 destinations in India including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Thiruvananthapuram.
