Revamped Meetings Quest announces Mesa meetup
Meetings Quest, the series of networking events and seminars for corporate meeting planners will relaunch next week on May 6-7 to coincide with the US Travel Association’s National Travel and Tourism Week.
Hosted by Visit Mesa in Arizona, Meetings Quest has scheduled events timed for maximum impact within the wider travel industry to highlight importance of meetings and events for travel professionals.
The Travel Rally Day will take place on May 6 featuring discussions with leading travel industry figures at the Mesa Arts Center, highlighting national trends and showcasing Arizona as a meetings and conference destination.
Speakers confirmed for the event include Travel Quest organizer Timothy Schneider, Marc Garcia, CEO of Visit Mesa, Debbie Johnson, CEO of the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association, and Martha Sheridan of Destination Marketing Association International.
"We are pleased to be marking National Travel and Tourism Week during the opening celebration for Meetings Quest," said Meetings Quest organizer Timothy Schneider.
"We believe that a strong travel industry benefits all sectors of the economy and we’re delighted to be working with Visit Mesa to provide a Travel Rally Day event for the entire state of Arizona," Schneider said.
The event will also feature art, culinary and cultural experiences unique to Mesa and workshops aimed at educating delegates on the latest technology and social media trends in the meetings industry.
