Rough seas delay largest cruise ship

Strong winds and rough seas on the North Atlantic will cause a two day delay in the arrival in Florida of Oasis of the Seas, the world’s largest crusie ship.
The 5,400-passenger ship is en-route from its ship yard in Finland to Port Everglades.
But the 225,282 gross ton vessel’s passage has been hit by bad weather.
Oasis of the Seas is now scheduled to arrive at Port Everglades on the morning of November 13 – two days later than originally scheduled, owner Royal Caribbean International confirmed.
The company stressed that the late arrival will not impact any inaugural events, promotional activities or revenue sailings.
