Ryanair announces expanded winter schedule from Edinburgh
Ryanair added more services to its winter 2021/22 schedule out of Edinburgh, operating four new routes and connecting Edinburgh to more European destinations from this month.
The recent Scottish travel announcement, which removes the pre-departure testing requirement for fully vaccinated people arriving in Scotland has stimulated demand for travel.
The expansion brings the total number of routes from Edinburgh to 50 – having previously announced routes to Knock, Tallinn, Shannon and Turin for winter 2021/22.
Ryanair’s four new routes from Edinburgh are Cork, Madrid, Palermo and Paris.
Kate Sherry, Aviation Director at Edinburgh Airport said: "It’s clear to see there is confidence in the Edinburgh market as one for sustainable growth and it is good news that Ryanair are working with us to add new routes and help people return to travel safely."
