Ryanair has launched rescue fares to accommodate customers impacted by Blue Air’s suspension of operations.

Customers who are booked to fly on now-cancelled Blue Air flights can travel on one of Ryanair’s flights from £49.99.

It includes routes from Bucharest, Cluj, Oradea, Sibiu, Suceava, Timisoara in Romania or Turin in Italy.

The rescue fares are on sale now on the Ryanair.com website, for travel until 31 October, but must be booked by midnight 9 September.

Ryanair’s Dara Brady said:” Ryanair is once again saving the day with rescue fares. Ryanair continues to operate a full schedule with over 3,000 daily flights.”
