Sabre to offer new cruise booking tool
Sabre Travel Network announced a technology and marketing agreement with OurVacationStore (OVS).
Sabre Travel will offer a branded version of the OVS cruise-booking tool to travel agents early next year as part of a private label agreement, according to the company.
Said Chris Kroeger, senior vice president of Sabre Travel Network, North America:
“As the cruise industry continues to show strong passenger growth, travel agents need the ability to seamlessly manage the shopping and booking process. This robust browser-based tool does just that.”
The new automated tool will provide Sabre connected travel agents with cross-vendor shopping, deck images and cabin photos, group booking, inventory management and booking, and commission reporting capabilities.
Sabre Connected agents will continue to have access to nine cruise lines that currently participate in Sabre CruiseDirect; these include Carnival, Celebrity, Crystal, Disney, Holland America, Norweigan, Princes, Royal Caribbean and Windstar.
OVS is a company that provides technology in the cruise market.
