Scott Dunn selects Nium for hotel supplier virtual card payments

Cross-border payments provider Nium has announced a partnership with luxury tour operator Scott Dunn.
It will supply virtual cards to its global network of hotel providers.
Nium’s virtual card solution enables travel intermediaries to pay airlines, hotels, and the global travel ecosystem via secure, cost effective transactions in more than 20 local currencies.
Scott Dunn’s network of global hotel partners will benefit from improved reconciliation, card protection, and quicker access to funds.
In 12 months since working with Nium, Scott Dunn has been able to add new hotel destinations and improve conversion rates among its customer base.
“Nium’s virtual card payment solution has enabled us to expand our global footprint by offering more choice, flexibility, and control,” said Mark Woodall, CFO at Scott Dunn.
“For decades, payments have been perceived as a necessary cost of doing business, and the travel industry is no exception,” said Spencer Hanlon, Global Head of Travel Payments at Nium.
“Our partnership with Scott Dunn is a great example of how this is changing.”
The announcement follows the recent partnership with Secret Escapes.
Its virtual card solutions span over 100+ currencies and 190+ markets.
