Seabourn launches travel agent expedition month

Monday, 26 May, 2024 0

Seabourn is running a travel agent-dedicated ‘Expedition Month’ throughout June.

It will encompass expert-led destination webinars, newsletters featuring selling-skills and product, plus quizzes with spot prizes on social media.

It offers the chance for one travel partner and colleague to travel on a Seabourn expedition voyage to the Arctic in summer 2025.

Each week will have a different destination focus, and travel agents are encouraged to register for three 45-minute webinars hosted by Seabourn’s own expedition experts on a regular Tuesday 9am slot.

On Tuesday 4 June, Seabourn’s VP Expeditions, Robin West will give insight into Antarctica’s glaciers, icebergs and penguin colonies.

On Tuesday 11 June, Robin West, VP Expeditions will guide agents through warm-weather Pacific; Amazon River and Kimberley expedition voyages.

On Tuesday 18 June, Seabourn’s Expedition specialist and ornithologist Danae Sheehan guides agent partners through Arctic expeditions that feature marine and bird life icebergs, reindeer and polar bears.

The final week of expedition month will look at Seabourn Pursuit’s first year and her first summer in Australia.

The ship’s inaugural Kimberley sailing and christening by traditional landowners of the region, the Wunambal Gaambera, is on 29 June.

To be in with a chance to win an Arctic Expedition voyage for two, travel agent partners need to register (and attend) at least two of the three webinars, then make and confirm a new Seabourn Expedition booking between 1 June and 31 August 2024.
