Seven injured after turbulent flight

Seven passengers were injured on a Sydney-bound flight after encountering severe turbulence.
The Air India flight was two hours into its journey from Delhi when it encountered turbulence.
Medical assistance was administered by cabin crew and a doctor and a nurse who were passengers.
The flight landed safely and three passengers required further medical attention on arrival.
Air India said injuries were mainly ‘minor sprains.’
“This onboard incident has been reported to the relevant authorities as standard practice,” it said.
