Twenty-two passengers and crew members were injured after a Singapore Airlines flight suffered sudden turbulence during its descent into Mumbai.
The A380 aircraft was carrying 408 passengers and 25 crew on board, the airline said.
The incident happened on Saturday as the plane was approaching Mumbai airport after taking off from Singapore Changi.
It landed safely and the injured were ferried to two local hospitals for medical attention.
"Of the 14 crew taken to hospital, 10 required attention and have since been discharged by the medical personnel. All 8 passengers were hospitalised and 6 have been discharged by the medical personnel after examination," a SIA statement said.
"Our immediate concern is for the well-being of our passengers and crew. Singapore Airlines will provide full assistance to the authorities in their investigations."
