Silver Airways adds another major codeshare partner
Florida based Silver Airways has bagged a second major codesharing partnership this month.
The airline just agreed a codeshare arrangement with American Airlines .
AA will place its code on more than 180 flights Silver operates across the Caribbean from its San Juan, Puerto Rico hub.
These include services connecting San Juan and Dominica, Tortola, St. Thomas and St. Croix.
American flies to San Juan from Miami, Charlotte, Chicago O’Hare Dallas/Fort Worth and Philadelphia.
Earlier this month Silver announced a similar codeshare arrangement with Delta Air Lines for routes out of San Juan.
Silver also codeshares with United Airlines and JetBlue.
The airline operates mostly 34-seater Saab turboprops but these are being phased out and replaced by newer ATR aircraft.
