Silverjet appoints head of sales

Silverjet, the business class-only airline due to launch in December, has appointed Tim Buckman as head of UK sales.

Buckman joins from Cathay Pacific Airways, where he was leisure sales manager for the UK and Ireland.

Prior to that he worked for two years with Canadian airlines.
