Singapore opens the door to Taiwan travellers
Singapore is unilaterally removing border restrictions for travellers from Taiwan.
Starting on 18 December, people who have spent the past 14 consecutive days in Taiwan may apply for an Air Travel Pass for entry into Singapore.
They will take a PCR Covid test on arrival and will be free to travel throughout the city state once they receive a negative test result.
Visitors can apply for the free Air Travel Pass seven calendar days before their intended date of travel to Singapore.
Taiwan joins travellers from Australia, Brunei, Mainland China, New Zealand and Vietnam which are permitted to enter Singapore quarantine-free with negative Covid results.
As of the 10 December, Singapore has welcomed more than 4,000 people under the ATP scheme and all have tested negative on arrival.
Singapore advises all travellers to register and pre-pay for their on-arrival Covid-19 PCR test prior to departure to Singapore.
