Six-year-old ‘thrown’ from Tate Modern gallery was French tourist

A six-year-old French boy who was visiting London with his family is in a critical but stable condition after he was allegedly thrown from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern art gallery on Sunday.
A 17-year-old, not known to the victim, has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Bromley Youth Court.
The gallery, the UK’s most popular tourist attraction last year, closed its 10th floor viewing platform on Monday following the incident.
According to reports, the child was found on a fifth floor roof.
Witnesses said they heard a ‘loud bang’, before seeing a woman scream: "Where’s my son, where’s my son?"
The Tate said it was working closely with the police and added: "All our thoughts are with the child and his family."
