US investigators are looking into the cause of a hot air balloon crash in which all 16 people onboard, including the pilot, died.
They say the balloon’s basket caught fire before it crashed down in a field near the city of Lockhart, 30 miles south of Austin.
The 15 passengers and pilot, Skip Nicols, were travelling on the hour-long flight with Heart of Texas Hot Air Balloon Rides company.
