Wednesday, 30 Jul, 2010 0

Ski holiday specialist SkiMax has introduced South Korea in its northern hemisphere packages.

“We’ve received numerous inquiries on skiing in South Korea and have acted quickly to bring this destination to our clients,” said Jenny Foot, marketing manager Skimax.

SkiMax is selling a seven-day package staying at a Korean-style apartment plus a six-day Yongpyong ski lift ticket.

Yongpyong is about two and a half hours east of Seoul. The alpine resort has more then 25kms of groomed slopes, 15 chairlifts, a 3.7km gondola and a terrain park.

It is a candidate vying for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
