South Korea lifts most Covid restrictions
South Korea this week dropped most of its remaining Covid-19 curbs. With tourism reopened, it marks the latest step towards normality.
Midnight closing for restaurants and other businesses was lifted, along with the 10-person limit on gatherings. From next week, people will be able to eat in cinemas and other indoor facilities such as event venues and stadiums.
Masks are still required. The rule for masks outdoors will be reassessed in two weeks.
