Southwest Airlines resumes pre-pandemic boarding
Southwest Airlines has resumed its usual boarding procedures, allowing more passengers to board together. It deems it safe enough to go back to the traditional procedure which was changed to boarding in smaller groups to ensure social distancing.
It had been boarding passengers in groups of only 10 since it implemented the ‘Southwest Promise’ health and safety protocols.
The airline continues to ensure physical distancing at the airport and like all other carriers, passengers are required to wear masks at the airport and in the cabin.
