Spain contemplates bilateral deals if EU cannot agree on vaccine certificates
Spain is ready to make bilateral deals or travel corridors with other countries if an EU-wide agreement cannot be reached on vaccine certificates.
According to Tourism Secretary Fernando Valdes, Spain will engage with ‘third countries that can help us to restart tourism flows’ if no EU scheme is forthcoming. Valdes is hopeful that ‘maybe in summer we will be regaining British tourists in Spain.’
