No frills carrier Spirit Airlines is adding two new destinations from Baltimore next spring.

The discount airline will start flying to Boston Logan and Detroit Metro airports on April 21.

Spirit will serve Boston twice daily and one daily roundtrip to Detroit from Baltimore/Washington International.

Spirit began flying from BWI in 2012 when it moved from Reagan National and will now serve 12 destinations

"We welcome this further expansion from Spirit Airlines," said Baltimore Airport CEO Ricky Smith

"Spirit continues to add ultra-low fare service at BWI Marshall, which means more travel flexibility and convenience for our customers."

The carrier also announced a new seasonal service from Minneapolis-St.Paul to Philadelphia beginning next April.
