Starwood Hotel’s loyalty scheme Starwood Preferred Guest has linked up the Club ITC, the rewards programme from the ITC Hotels portfolio and retail brands in India.
Under the partnership Club ITC members can enrol in the SPG program and transfer their Club ITC Green Points to SPG, up to a limit of 30,000 Starpoints a year.
ITC members can then redeem points at 1,300 Starwood Hotels & Resorts worldwide, while Indian SPG members will get redemption options such as Wills Lifestyle and ITC Hotels dining coupons.

This partnership will strengthen both program propositions and deliver added benefits to our loyal guests," said Dipak Haksar, chief executive of ITC Hotels and WelcomHotels.
"Members can now redeem their points for free nights across Starwood hotels worldwide and for curated experiences spanning holidays and fine dining at ITC Hotels & Wills Lifestyle fashion merchandise."
ITC Limited and Starwood Hotels & Resorts recently announced a collaboration to operate 12 ITC hotels under Starwood’s Luxury Collection and Sheraton brands throughout India.
Hotels so far announced include ITC Kohinoor in Hyderabad, ITC Narmada in Ahmedabad and ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata under the Luxury Collection banner.
Commenting on the loyalty program partnership, Starwood’s regional vice president of South Asia Dilip Puri said: "This combined initiative will offer an array of privileges to our respective loyalty members."
The Club ITC program comprises 60 hotels and more than 110 Wills Lifestyle stores in India.
