Sun Country Airlines expands with 18 new routes this winter
Minnesota carrier Sun Country Airlines is ramping up its flights schedules for the winter with 18 new nonstop routes. It is launching warm weather leisure routes to Florida, Phoenix, Las Vegas as well as international services to the Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos and Cancun.
Flights will operate out of its Minneapolis-St. Paul hub, Milwaukee, Duluth, Rochester and Green Bay.
Many of the flights are starting up during the winter peak season, offering a chance to escape the frigid Midwest temperatures.
