Sunshine.co.uk buys holiday review site
Sunshine.co.uk has bought a holiday review website for an undisclosed amount so its customers can make ‘informed decisions’ about their holidays.
The online agent said it has bought www.realholidayreports.com and given it a complete overhaul to make it more user friendly.
The website will be free from advertising and run separately from sunshine.co.uk.
Chris Clarkson, managing director of sunshine.co.uk, said: "We’re always looking for investment opportunities and realholidayreports.com looked like it had real potential."
The online travel agent left the Hays Travel Independence Group to become fully independent last November after being the first OTA to join the Hays consortium in 2007.
Sunshine.co.uk, which offers low cost holidays and budget flights to destinations all over the world, was voted best Travel Agency in the 2010 TravelMole web awards.
