Taiwan airlines suspend flights to nowhere
Due to a cluster of 10 positive Covid cases, Taiwan’s two major airlines have suspended their remaining ‘flights to nowhere.’
Heeding government health advice, a Boeing 747-400 farewell flight by China Airlines has been postponed.
The ‘Farewell Party for the Queen of the Sky’ set for 6 February and two other similar air tours have been pushed back indefinitely.
Customers have been advised to contact CAL or their travel agent for a refund.
An EVA Airways flight to nowhere scheduled for 23 February has also been pushed back to at least March.
The Taiwan based airlines have been offering flights to nowhere and air tours for several months as international borders remain closed.
