Monday, 24 Jun, 2010 0

Tasmania has secured the right to host the International Cool Climate Wine Symposium (ICCWS) in Hobart, February 1-4, 2012.

Tasmania will be hosting the international event for the first time.

It is expected to attract more than 300 delegates from around the world to discuss and explore scientific research methods for creating premium cool climate wines.

British wine critic, Jancis Robinson, will be a guest speaker at the four-day event.

Tasmania produces 10 percent of Australia’s premium and ultra-premium wines for the domestic and international market.
