Travel technology company Sabre has launched a piece of software to help hotels boost revenue via Facebook.

SocialConversation offers a suite of social network services including a seamless booking engine with the feel of a hotel’s website but hosted by Facebook.

The software also has the ability to offer social media-only offers and promotions pushed within Facebook. It can also integrate social media into a hotel’s website through profile portability and social plug-ins.

Recent research shows around 40% of travellers use social media to research options before booking.
