A Cambodia casino fire claimed at least 10 lives.

Around 50 others were injured in the blaze at the Grand Diamond City hotel-casino in Poipet.

The Cambodia casino fire started at ground level but rapidly spread throughout the hotel late Wednesday.

At least 32 Thai nationals were injured and one has died.

The casino resort is situated close to the Thai border.

Several Thai rescue vehicles and fire trucks raced across the border to help fight the blaze.

About 400 people including foreign nationals were thought to be working at the casino resort.

Video footage online appeared to show people jumping from windows to escape the fire.
