Thailand extends visa free entry for India, Taiwan travellers
Thailand has extended its visa exemption program for tourists from India and Taiwan for an additional six months.
It enables Indian and Taiwanese tourists to enter visa free for up to 30 days until November 11, 2024.
It aims to further boost tourist arrivals from both markets.
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin confirmed the visa exempt extension after success of the initial visa waiver policy was introduced late last year.
Previously, India and Taiwan travelers were only allowed to stay in Thailand for 15 days via a visa on arrival program.
