Thailand tourism industry struggles to recover

Thailand is finding it tough to strike the right balance between the pleas of the tourism industry and the health of its citizens. Thailand’s special tourist visa program has failed to meet expectations – just over 300 overseas visitors a month on average have arrived/
According to Bloomberg, nearly 1,000 registered tourism companies shut down last year.
