The 20 biggest moments in travel
This week we discovered – and have been hooked to – the story of the couple currently travelling across America and Canada in a tiny mobile house. Jenna and Guillaume (and their pet pooch, Salies), who were living in Los Angeles, built the little home from scratch and embarked on their ‘Tiny House Giant Journey’ adventure in September last year. They are at the halfway point in their travels, which has seen them exploring the East Coast of America and, most recently partying, at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and riding an airboat in Lafayette, Louisiana. We have been following the epic trip on Instagram, and the dedicated blog, and can’t wait to follow the West Coast leg, then back down through the National Parks, Denali, Banff and Yellowstone, before arriving into Boulder, Colorado where the adventure is due to end on 22 August.

Dubai, known for creating some of the most creative and exciting buildings and attractions in the world, has announced this week that its latest attraction, ‘Museum of the Future’ is due to open in 2017. Museum of the Future will focus on innovation and will use design, technology prototyping and foresight to create real examples of change. It is said to be the first of its kind and has been created based on the principles that the world is entering a new era of accelerated knowledge and technological growth. His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed took to twitter to make the announcement.
What risks would you to take to get the perfect Instagram shot? A new series on YouTube looks to shed light on ‘Urban Exploring’, where photographers seek out lesser-seen cityscapes and structures, often getting into some risky situations. Seeker Stories follows some of the world’s up and coming daredevil ‘urban explorers’ who have found each other through the popular photo sharing and editing social media platform, Instagram. The five minute video will take your breath away at times, not something we recommend undertaking yourself, but an interesting watch nonetheless.
