Teletext Holidays is to change all advertiser 0870 numbers on its digital TV service and online from November 15, in order to comply with the change in Ofcom regulations which come into effect next January.
All 0870 numbers will be replaced with new 0845 codes, which will be issued to advertisers within the next few weeks.
Advertisers currently using 0800 or 0808 numbers will not have to make changes. Any advertisers wishing to take a freephone number from now one will need a new 0808 number.
