Time for Taiwan in Sydney and Melbourne
A Taiwan tourism industry delegation is visiting Sydney and Melbourne this week to host workshop events.
Headed by the president of Golden Foundation Tours, Jean Chang, the delegation also includes the deputy secretary-general of the Taiwan Visitors Association, Sophia Yeh, and the regional director of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Arthur Hsieh.
The workshops are being held at the Hilton Sydney and at the Sofitel on Collins in Melbourne.
Both events have been designed to update agents and industry staffers with the latest developments taking place in Taiwan, which this year has attracted in excess of 49,000 Australian visitors.
Taiwan Tourism Bureau marketing representative Australia & New Zealand, Pearl Lee, said the two events complement the tourist office’s current promotional activity in Australia.
This includes the launch of the tourist office’s biggest-ever outdoor advertising campaign, which is currently appearing on buses and railway platforms in Sydney, and on buses and trams in Melbourne featuring a Time for Taiwan message.
