Travel agency fails
Cardiff-based Millennium Travel Agency has ceased trading.
ABTA said the agency cannot meet its future liabilities.
The company’s website is just a holding page, promising that a new website is “currently being prepared and will be published here early in 2009”.
According to details on review website, Yelp, Millennium specialised in cruises, low air fares, tours, all-inclusive holidays, Disney holidays, car rentals, dinner reservatons, and theatre tickets.
“Millennium Travel Agency is your one stop shop for traveling on the web and, because we are not big like some of our competitors, we keep our overhead low,” the website says.
Any retail claims arising from the failure of the agency will be handled by CEGA, ABTA’s claims handling partner.
