Travel agency suspended over SingapoRediscovers voucher fraud
Three people have been arrested and are suspected of fraudulent dealings concerning redemptions of SingapoRediscovers vouchers. SingapoRediscovers is part of Singapoe’s local tourism stimulus programme.
They were illegally offering customers cash back for redeeming their vouchers through travel agency Continental Travel for local tours.
The Singapore Tourism Board said it issued Continental Travel Singapore with a notice to suspend its travel agency licence.
