Travel industry shocked over France quarantine rule
The decision to impose quarantine on inbound travellers from France – even those fully vaccinated – has led to shock and confusion with holidaymakers and the travel industry. From 19 July, double jabbed travellers from amber list countries will not need to isolate for 10 days, but France has been singled out due to rising cases of the Beta variant.
It has angered travel businesses which were looking forward to an uptick in bookings with amber list quarantine now ending. Aito were shocked at the decision while easyJet and IATA slammed the government’.
