Travel websites hit by pre-Christmas shift
Travel companies were over taken by high street retailers in the latest IMRG-Hitwise Hot Shops List.
The list ranks retail websites by popularity, according to the number of visits they get.
This pre-Christmas edition of the Hot Shops List is always characterised by rises in event tickets, fashion, groceries and computers.
But Hitwise said travel has fallen even further than it normally does at this time of year.
