TravelPerk snaps up UK-based Click Travel
Corporate travel booking platform TravelPerk is acquiring UK-based corporate travel management company Click Travel.
It will be TravelPerk’s third acquisition and largest so far.
TravelPerk purchased Albatross in summer 2020 followed by the acquisition of US-based NexTravel in January to bolster its US presence.
The deal includes Birmingham based Click Travel’s employees, technology and their customer base of about 2,000 SMEs.
"There is no doubt that the business travel market is on track for a full recovery after the disruption of the last year", said Travel Perk chief executive Avi Meir.
"We’re really excited to welcome Click Travel’s fantastic and talented team to TravelPerk to build long term growth and to significantly expand our on-the-ground team in the UK."
Click’ Travel’s business will operate independently under TravelPerk ownership before an eventual integration.
"Shared objectives, combined with the natural cultural fit between our two companies, means we are incredibly excited to bring our teams together," said James McLean, Click Travel CEO.
